Seri Carcosa Negara - Afternoon Tea

One of the most famous afternoon teas to have in KL Malaysia is the infamous Seri Carcosa Negara.

What was occupied by the British High Commissioners of Malaysia before its hotel days, the personalized 5-star boutique hotel set on two adjacent hills on Lake Garden Park KL is said to offer splendid ambiance for its classy visitors.

Pricing at RM60+ per person, it's certainly a luxurious way to spend your afternoon alone/with friends.

You can say that I have a fetish for afternoon tea. I don't know if it's the fact of the scones which reminded me of my hey days in Scotland and northern England, or the fact that I really enjoy mix fruit tea and have a quiet and nice afternoon in a garden sort of life style that attracted me,

jam and cream

Or even the fact that I fancy British-style mansion and would love to stay in one in the future one day.

strawberries

Or maybe it's the fact that I love to snack, especially sweet desserts or small munchies between meals. Afternoon tea is a culture that's a must in my life.

chocolate cake

Personally, I don't think the quality of the food was all that nice for the price one's paying, but I definitely enjoyed the ambiance, the garden and spending the English mansion sit-down-have-a-tea afternoon.

If I'll ever go back? Only definitely.
