Hence few weeks ago I went to Sakae Sushi for some cheap Kaiten Belt sushi with Nigel and Kel Li.
I don't usually go these sort of fast food japanese restaurant, seeing how cheap sushi on the go is just NOT PROPER japanese food. But I was hungry, the movie was to start in 2 hours, there just wasn't time to sit and dine at snail pace. Besides, Sakae Sushi is semi-fast food in my opinion.
Unlike "some" other fast-food sushi joints, Sakae Sushi do make "rather" good sushi, hand rolls and maki. Like the dragon roll. I just love Avocado in sushi, don't you?
One of the dish that really impressed me that night was the Beef Ramen.
I have tasted several ramen before, both expensive and cheap ones. I have to say, this was really nice for what it was priced at.
The ramen belongs to Nigel.
Kel Li had Teriyaki Chicken Don. I tried a bit, it was alright, rice was a bit dry. Did I say I dislike rice? (exception in sushi)
And this is me stealing Nigel's ramen. Yum~
