IZZI @ Uptown, Petaling Jaya

At the end of the Cohort 4 Research Comm module class, I have a gathering dinner at IZZI with my fellow course mates and our lovely professor Ursula. (this was before CNY)

We had a feast.




The Mushroom Soup here was lovely. Though I didn’t order it, but I had a taste.




Best eat it with Cheese Bun, which I liked a lot. The cheese didn’t ooze out as expected but the cheesy cheddar inside was delicious.




I ordered Marinara Pizza with a classmate of mine. She didn’t like it, I thought it was okay, not fabulous, but edible. It did look lovely though.




Adrian’s Carbonara Pasta was my favourite. I wanted to wallop his plate but resisted. ~.~




The Marinara Pasta, however, was a disappointment.

Blunt and tasteless, except of the succulent prawns, which I thought was a bit overcooked (pity), the there’s nothing impressive about the dish.




I can’t remember the name of this pasta, but I know it had a lot of olives. It was so so, not my thing, some might like it.




Having sweet tooth, me and Ursula couldn’t resist having some desserts, and the encouragement among my classmates didn’t help. -.-

So we ordered an Opera Cake from the wide selections at their dessert bar. It was very creamy, too sweet for some maybe, I prefer the ones at Starbucks.


Being me, I had a bit of everything from everyone’s dish. Afterall, sharing is caring right?


My stolen portion of Carbonara


I loved the Mexican Chicken Salad here which I didn’t order but wished I had and didn’t have the chance to take photo of it. But the company was great, which made up for everything else.

I hope to see all of you again soon; you’ve been the best classmates so far. :D
