Which is why the students at KDU are blessed to be served with the finest cuisine in their very own campus cafeteria.
Hence I was at the campus the other to wait for Dominic (program leader in Communication Department) to have lunch together.
Some of the food are rather cheap. Take this pea soup for example.
Only RM2.00. You get some garlic bread and a bowl of rather nice pea soup.
I like simple food like sandwich and hence what was what I went for.
Normal white bread sandwich costs RM3.50 but I ordered the homemade sandwich priced at RM5.50. Which was rather pricey by campus standard, but then again, it’s good food so it doesn’t matter.
I chose the Focaccia bread. It was obviously homemade because the texture of the bread was very soft on the inside and has a tender crunch on the outside. However the overall presentation could be improved, if they use salads and chips instead of crisps, it would’ve been better.
I finished the meal (didn’t really finish the food actually, ordered too much, greedy me) with a small blueberry tart given by a friend.
Erm.. not bad not bad. I don’t mind paying another visit if I ever pass by the place again.

i'm from kdu and i'm one of the culinary students there. i agree that it looks good but it's way to pricey and the quality there is sometimes not what u think it suppose to be. lol. i probably prepared one the food that u ate over there.
im a kdu student and i think the food there has gone from good to worst. no bad in between.
the sandwiches, nasi goreng and kdu USED to be known for their delicious chicken chop. but now the food is not up to par as it used to be. and they have raised the price now and i don't think that's necessary.
